Dive Sites of Subic Bay
Subic Bay is perhaps unique among dive destinations around the world.  Nowhere else on the planet can you find so many shipwrecks with a 20 minute boat ride from the dive shop, in a town that is easy and inexpensive to get to.  Sure places like Truk Lagoon may have more impressive wrecks, but getting there costs a fortune!  Diving in Subic Bay is available to everyone, wether you are an experienced diver looking for Daily Dive Trips, an aspiring student diver taking up a PADI Open Water Course or even someone just wanting a taste of diving with a Discover Scuba Dive - we have dive sites to meet your needs.

The dive sites of Subic Bay vary from basic coral reef sites to extreme adventures on deep wrecks.  Depths can be from 5 metres on some wrecks to 40+ metres on others.  Bottom time varies with the depths but you can extend your time using Nitrox if certified already, or by taking our PADI Enriched Air Diver Course.

Subic Bay does have a reputation for bad visibility and sadly this can be true.  Thanks to the eruption of the Mt Pinatubo volcano back in 1991, the bay has a thick layer of fine volcanic ash on top of the sea bed and open parts of some of the wrecks which can get kicked up and create bad silting.  But its not like that all the time and even when visibility is down, you can still explore the wrecks piece by piece.  Some say it makes them even more eerie.
